Carnes, William P. Died at 8 p.m. Tuesday at his residence at 4605 Evangeline St. (Baton Rouge, LA.) Born in Sallis, Miss., he was 73 years old and was a retired Esso Standard Oil employee. Was a member of the Monte Sano Presbyterian Church. Survived by his widow, the former Mary Bullard, two sons, William W. Carnes of Crowley and Charles B. Carnes of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Miss Doris Carnes and Mrs. Lucille Treloar, both of Baton Rouge; one sister, Mrs. Mack Christian of Tampa, Fla.; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Body will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home where the Rev. J. K. Aiken will conduct services at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be A. B. Ballard, J. G. Roth, Henry Yoes, Steve Laurent, Bert Tessier and G. A. Nordstrom."
