Location: T15N-R6E-S7
Located off Hwy 440 on the first unpaved road west of Sharkey Creek on the right and about 1 1/2 miles from Hwy 440. On original land received as a patent deed in the 1880's by Thomes Thornton: Section 7 Township 15 Range 6 East. Today the Thorntons are burying at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery on Hwy 440. Copied 3 July 1979 by Terri Lynn Farmer (great-great-great-granddaughter of Thomas Thornton).
