Attala County, Mississippi



Location: T16N-R6E-S14 Also known as New Providence Cemetery, the Providence Primitive Church Cemetery and Puddle Pool Cemetery. Travel north from Kosciusko on Hwy 35; at crossroad just beyond Carmack School (where Allen Armstrong's store used to be) turn right and travel to metal sign "Providence Church" on left; turn and go down gravel road to white frame church; cemetery is beside church and fenced in with cyclone fence. The cemetery is very well kept, grass mowed and tombstones in good condition with very few exceptions. Copied 1984 by Joyce W. Sanders and Lucille Rigby; the balance of the cemetery copied 4 Oct 1986 by Donald Cook and his family and Mrs. E. C.Fenwick.
