Alone in a pasture 100 yards north of the enclosure is a single grave:
Zettie NORDIN, 20 June 1883 - 24 Jan 1898, dau of J.M. & M.J. Nordin
(according to Mrs. Simmons: Zellie Nordin was a relative of Nancy
Jane Newby Simmons, possibly a niece who lived for a time with
J.M.Simmons and went to school at Centre Point School and Centre
Point Church which was a building on the Simmons property nearby -
     building no longer there.)

Note: According to Mrs. Simmons: James M. Simmons had five children by his 1st wife, who was a Jenkins and possibly died in Georgia; then by his 2nd wife (see above) he had seven children. Sometime after her death he married a third time to Eddie Murphy Holly by whom he had no children. Mrs. Simmons has a Bible of James Madison Simmons, a grandfather of her husband, Grady Simmons, which gives additional data of this family.
