Bain Cemetery
Attala County, Mississippi

Location: T15N-R8E-S30
Initially searchers failed to locate this abandoned cemetery. On 15 May 1960 a group went to the old Bain property to look for the cemetery. It was suppose to be located behind the old Bain home which had burned and was in a grove of cedars. The group searched all over the sage field but failed to find any trace of the graves. Cemetery was located at later date, 1 April 1962.

Isabella BAIN, 1827 - died no date
Margarett BAIN, 1830 - died no date
John BAIN, 1839 - 1853 (first to be buried here)
Catherine BAIN, 1841 - died after 1900
Martha BAIN, 1844 - 1911
Sons of Hugh and Mildred Octavier BAIN and grandsons of Murdock & Nancy Bain
Cooper BAIN
Infant BAIN
