Affirming the Guilt of

Anthony Fullilove

Directive of final judgement to the Circuit Court, 2nd District, Carroll County, Mississippi from the Supreme Court, City of Jackson in the State of Mississippi which was issued on the 16th of January 1882. The Supreme Court order upholds and affirms the judgement of the Carroll County Circuit Court rendered on the 18th day of May 1881.

The judgement of the Carroll County Circuit Court had been appealed by the defendant Anthony Fullilove.

The order of the Supreme Court further stipulates that Anthony Fullilove was to be held in close confinement by Carroll County until Saturday, the 11th day of March, 1882 on which day between the hours of 10 O' clock A.M. and 4 O' clock P.M. that said Anthony Fullilove shall be...hanged by the neck until he be dead.

An entry in Judge Niles diary dated 14 March 1882 indicates: "Anthony Fullilove hung at Vaiden for killing a Negro boy".
