Personally appeared before me Mr. Ell Wells , Judge of Probates in aforesaid county. Amos T. Allen who being duly sworn deposit and said that he posted three exact copies of the above advertisement in three public places in said county 30 days previous to the 15th day of November AD 1860, w/ one copy on the court house door, one copy at the fork of the road on the Natchez Trace 3 miles above Kosciusko, one copy at Rochester.

Estate of John B. Allen deceased

To the Hon. Saml. Young Judge of the probate court of the county Attala and state of Mississippi. The undersigned commisioners appointed by this _eon? court at the last Jany. term thereof and or de-ed and directed among other things to divid the personal estate of John B. Allen deceased among his legal heirs. To assertaine each heirs share agreelby to the last of the descents and to allot to said heirs their respective shares thereof .__g learn respectfully to respons. That pursuing the instructions contained in the commission. When directed, and the rule of the statue in this behalf, they assembled at the home of John Biggs in the said county for the purpose of making said division at the 11th day of February 1861. The heirs of age all being present and those not of age being represented by their guardians, all of whom waived notice hense of this division. San commissioners carosed to be assembled all the Negroes Subjects to division and valued them as follows towit.

Martha aged about 11 years.        Valued at  $1250.00
North aged about 34 years.  Valued at $800.00
Emiline aged abt. 8 years.  Valued at  $800.00
Charles aged abt. 14 years.  Valued at  $1350.00
Nancy aged abt. 11 years.  Valued at  $1100.00
Henry aged abt. 5 years.  Valued at  $500.00
Esther & child aged abt. 17.  Valued at  $1600.
Sarah aged abt. 14 years.  Valued at  $1450.00
Lucinda aged abt. 13 years.  Valued at  $1400.00
Mary aged abt. 12 years.  Valued at  $1100.00
Agregate amt.               $11,350.00

Amos T. Allen Adminerstrator of said Estate reported assets of the estate subject to distribution. When collected to the amt. of $3050.00 which together with the aggregate value of the negroes makes the sum of $14,400.00 to be equally divided between the heirs 9 in number, giving each heir a share of $1600.00. ____ commissioners then proceed to divid the Negroes into 9 equal shares and designates said share as No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and awarded assets to equalizes the shares as follows.

To Mrs. Nancy A. Allen the allotted & assigned share. No. 1 Martha valued at --- $1250.00 assets --- $ $350. = $1600.
To Amos T. Allen share No. 2 North & Emiline valued at $1600. / $1600.
To Daniel C. Allen share No. 3 Charles valued at $1350. assets $250. = $1600.
To _____?_____ share No. 4 Nancy valued at $1100. / $1100.
To Wesley D. Allen share No. 5 Henry valued at $500. assets $1100. = $1600.
To Tennessee Allen share No. 6 Esther & child valued at $1600.
To Prudence Ann Allen share No. 7 Sarah valued at $1450. assets $150. = $1600.
To Mary E. Allen share No. 8 Lucinda valued at $1400. assets $200. = $1600.
To William B. Allen share No. 9 Mary valued at $1100. assets $500. = $1600.

To__ Commissioners having now fully discharged the duties enjoined upon them by said commission and having fully reported their proceedings under and by virtue there of by leave to be discharged given under one hands and seals this 11th day of February AD 1861.

The State of Mississippi>  Attala County>  Personally appeared before on C.H. Camp (?) ____ an acting Justice of the Peace in and for said county Sam Williams, John Biggs & E. M. Wells and made oath that the fore going report contains and honest and faithful and unpartial divisions of the personal estate belonging to the minor heirs of John B. Allen decd. and that they have preformed the duties trust and services required of them in this behalf to the best of their skill and judgement.
